I purchased two of these driftwood logs with Java ferns on them. They arrived in great shape and seem like a good value for the money when you factor in that with this purchase you don't have to deal with glueing or tying the plants to something for them to grow on as Java fern cannot be planted in the substrate. My only concern is that one driftwood log had the ferns growing on top of them with roots wrapping around which is ideal. The other driftwood log had 3 holes drilled into the log with a bunch of java fern inserted into each of the three holes. I am not 100% certain that this will work in the long run as this seems kind of like planting the roots in substrate which I thought is not good for the Java fern? But I assume that GreenPro knows more than I do so I will wait and see.
