I have had several of these meat grinders. My first was an OXO, one of the 3 blades came with a silicone tip, I thought it was to be used as a scraper, only the silicone doesn't cover the blade, it's kind of glued, it comes off quickly on the bottom, allowing food to eat being caught there. so one was in the trash. I have a red five-blade, the handle is thin and quite thin, fail! Then I saw this Farberware with 5 tapered blades that gets the job done with less effort. The handle is oversized, thicker at the top where you hold it, and far more ergonomic than any other. My favorite to date. Inexpensive if you are searing ground beef, this is a must-have accessory.
