I forgot what I was doing before I found this meat grinder. I cook with a lot of ground turkey and chicken and this chopper is my best friend. Great for cutting meat. I actually had a much more expensive one that was destroyed by a dog and jumped at the chance to buy this one which was much cheaper and even better. I'm very impressed with the quality.

My first was an OXO, one of the 3 blades came with a silicone tip, I thought it was to be used as a scraper, only the silicone doesn't cover the blade, it's kind of glued, it comes off quickly on the bottom, allowing food to eat being caught there. so one was in the trash. I will only use this for ground beef like hamburgers and turkey. He does a great job cutting meat. I have been using a metal spatula for over 40 years. I've always been afraid of scratching the pot or pan I'm cooking in, especially if it's non-stick or ceramic. I ditched my spatula for this purpose and now only use a meat/potato masher. My friend recently introduced me to the Pampered Chef version of this kitchen utensil and I was amazed I had never seen a utensil like this! Love the colour. I like durability. This is a good solid item. Good for chopping meat or potatoes. I use this in my dutch oven for pureeing and it works great without scratching the surface or chipping the coating. It's really great with heat resistance. Haven't noticed any heat issues.
