I bought this for my 87 year old mother. She figured her retro Victrola combo of CD, radio, turntable and cassette wouldn't work. It turns out it worked. She just couldn't turn it on and select game mode because the device was in a hard-to-reach corner. When she saw this new boombox she liked its size as it is easy to carry. However, the controls, particularly the power button, are hard to see and find, not particularly user-friendly, and the sound is okay for a boombox. However, it serves its purpose and is handy for going from room to room or when traveling.
