They work surprisingly well.
Theoretically you can hang five pants on each hanger, but that would be too heavy and chunky for me. I hung three pairs on each hanger and it seems to work pretty well. The hangers have not warped and my closet looks more organized. It's a little awkward to stack each pair on top of each other and remove the bottom pairs from the hanger, but not too bad.
