The cube works very quietly and well. I have it on a timer in my smelly moldy basement. It is designed to work at night for about an hour a day. It took less than two days to get rid of that musty smell. I also think it helps prevent mold and mildew in wetter areas. One issue I have is that it is NOT entirely plastic inside. I'm worried about moisture and rust in the future. The dehumidifier doesn't help me much.
