Review on Kensington USB 3.0 Dual Display Docking Station for Windows, Mac OS, Surface Pro & Surface Laptop - Black (K33972US) by Joshua Ngo

I don't know why I hesitated to buy this but let's be honest if you're looking for a pseudo dip station for your laptop that supports a dual display installation (i.e. not using your laptop screen , but use two full size monitors) is great. It doesn't support high resolution/refresh for hint apps(don't buy it for gaming laptop for games) but for business apps/photo editor/video/visio/office/photoshop/publisher/etc. It is great. It allows you to connect to two external HDMI monitors (when used with 2 24" monitors) - has 4 USB2 ports for accessories like keyboards, mice, drawing tablets (like Wacom), low power charging (like for wireless headsets and Bluetooth devices) - has 2 USB 3.0 ports for high-speed connection of external drives, as well as a built-in Gigabit Ethernet port. They include a DVI-HDMI adapter for a second monitor and the first is a standard HDMI port (both are HDMI ports, not display ports). the size of the power adapter and the length of the power cord.- It only connects via USB b with the included USB cable, but not very long (1m I think). If your laptop uses USB-C, you can choose Use a USB power adapter, and it only works with a data-only USB-C connection (great if your laptop's USB-C port doesn't support Alt DisplayPort, which many don't). It's been a month now and I'm very happy with it. One note - if this is your first time connecting the docking station to your computer - be sure to be patient! The initial setup takes 1-3 minutes before all the drivers are installed and the working and connected screens appear in the pop-up window. You have to adjust the displays to arrange them in the right order and switch to extended display mode (runs in mirror mode). After configuration, when reconnecting the docking station, the connection time is less than 5 seconds.
