Plug and play on computers and accessories

I have a MS Surface Pro 6. I have my Samsung monitor, Anker USB router, wireless USB port for mouse and keyboard, speakers, ethernet with the dock and then connected to my Sruface. NO connection problems. The Anker USB router has 3 charging ports and all 3 will charge. It also has 3 hard drives attached to it and my surface reads all the hard drives with no problems. My printer also works through Anker and although it prints it doesn't scan back to my computer so I'll probably have to fix that.

Docking station with a good price-performance ratio

Bought for my wife's new Dell laptop which no longer matches the old easy to connect docking station that Dell has been using for at least 10 years. Since the installation instructions are image-only, plan ahead: find out what ports are available on the dock itself, what cables you have (only one USB cable is included to connect your laptop to the dock), and which ones Connectors are available on monitors. There are 2 adapters included and you will most likely be using at least one of them as…

Two monitors with my Mac and Windows (Enhanced! No mirror). BRIGHT!

I liked the quality and simplicity of this docking station. I've searched for days and wanted to spend more than 150, but this one does the same thing for less money and is easy to use. I have a Macbook Pro 2018 with 4 TBT ports and my operating system is 10.14. Then I have an HP EliteBook 8470p. The Windows laptop didn't need to install a driver, which was nice. It worked as soon as I inserted the USB connector into my SS USB port. It was easy to install the driver and then adjust the settings

Perfect for Windows, OK for other platforms

I think it's fair to split this review into platforms. Windows (in my case Windows 10 running on a 6th Gen Intel i7 laptop): After installing the latest drivers from DisplayLink. My full HD monitor, connected to the docking station via HDMI, displays all documents, websites, films and games (Fallout 4, The Witcher 3) without any delay or interference. I can connect all my devices to the dock's USB 2/3 ports and they all work fine, even USB 3 external hard drives. Hence 5 stars for the dock when

Great docking station!

I don't know why I hesitated to buy this but let's be honest if you're looking for a pseudo dip station for your laptop that supports a dual display installation (i.e. not using your laptop screen , but use two full size monitors) is great. It doesn't support high resolution/refresh for hint apps(don't buy it for gaming laptop for games) but for business apps/photo editor/video/visio/office/photoshop/publisher/etc. It is great. It allows you to connect to two external HDMI monitors (when used…

Difficult installation

Not sure about those who say it's plug and play. wasn't for me. I have the latest Acer laptop (2018) Swift 3-15.6 with the latest version and updates for Windows 10. First, my laptop didn't recognize the dock. After everything was plugged in and plugged into the laptop, NOTHING. Well, it's time for a reboot. Now my laptop sees the device. I had it update every driver it ever needed and after I got it all figured out I started again. Still recognizes the dock but nothing goes to the monitor…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

solid product. suitable for computers and accessories

Build quality is good. I really like that it has a separate power supply and isn't hardwired. Experimented right out of the box. I connected my monitor via HDMI and plugged in a wireless dongle for keyboard and mouse. I've been using a Chromebook for a long time. The main page said NOTHING about Chromebook compatibility. Connected to my Acer R13 and after a few seconds the dock was working including the connected screen. While you can click Settings to make changes, I closed the lid on my…
