These are not industrial quality items that will last with heavy (or misuse) use, but they are suitable for places with infrequent use. Someone could easily knock it off the wall or smash it, or open it and steal the toilet paper. The locking mechanism can be rotated with a small screwdriver. Maybe even a bent paper clip. But it's a lid that keeps the paper dry and doesn't fall on the floor.
