Teen use. You love working with him. Wooden scratching tools will not work. We use metal tips commonly used for pen and ink. They work fine. The sheets resemble heavy paper rather than cardboard and are easy to cut with scissors or a paper cutter. The sheets tend to bunch up, but that wasn't a big problem.
