I usually wear Cole Haan Zero Grand Flyknit Oxfords for the lightness, breathability and sneaker-like sole. These shoes also fit that criteria well, but at a lower price point. They also seem to be a bit more durable over time. Flyknit starts to lose shape and seems to stretch after a few months of daily wear. These Náutica loafers, on the other hand, seem to have maintained their shape over time. The profile also feels a bit more durable compared to the Cole Haans. In the area where I usually see wear on the outside of the heel, which hits first, the Náuticas wear less. I bought a second pair and am hoping the quality of the second pair will be the same.
