I have 7 cats, 5 of them turned out to be abandoned kittens that I had to bottle feed and after that I couldn't leave them. Needless to say, we use a lot of cat litter and it used to be a daily struggle to get the litter off the floor. No longer! This mat is placed in front of the crates and when they walk over it, all the dirt stuck to their paws has already fallen into the mat! Cute! However, I spilled the first carpet and made a mess because I didn't get it right. You have to pull it up on the sides to make it a U-shape, otherwise everything will end up on the floor.
