Ordered this camera for family home videos. I use my phone for short movies, but it doesn't take long for my phone to fill up with a lot of movies. This camera shoots in super high resolution. The picture is so clear, it's like you're there. Since the resolution is very good, the image is sensitive to a lot of movement. I recommend using the tripod for long periods of time, although it is lightweight and easy to hold and transport. It's better for us to keep the camera steady for long periods of time, but it actually works well with a tripod. It is easy to install and operate. What I really like about this camera is that it comes with a lot of useful accessories like a boom microphone, a widescreen lens, a remote control and some cables. The sound is also very high quality. All in all it was a great purchase and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a quality camera at a very reasonable price.
