works as intended. Don't expect it to last long. If you try to run it for a minute or more, even at a very light load, it will overheat and burn out the solenoid. I burned three of them and accidentally left them on even though they weren't connected to the winch yet. I took one apart and the coils are cheap and very small so it's meant for intermittent use and very intermittent. Remember that it should cool down after use.
