Get smaller than you need
The central air intake in my apartment uses 20x20x1, the 20x20x1 filter from the hardware store fits perfectly but not merv 13. This air filter says 20x20x1 it says 19 and 3/4 small but it's too big I had to bend, it should fit properly, and even then it doesn't
- DURABILITY: For best results, change the filter every 60-90 days during the normal season, but increase the frequency to 30 days during the summer and winter months. Installing or replacing our air conditioner or furnace air filters is as easy as it gets. Just slide the filter into the slot and you're done!
