I, for one, was sad to hear it go. My mom uses it to view movies and listen to music, podcasts, and audio books, and it does a great job with all of these things. It keeps its charge and signal and is simple to control. But, as a person who appreciates music and has some knowledge of acoustics, I found the volume to be disappointingly low. The sound is too basic and "plastic," so I'd want to add some bass to it. For instance, such a column is not a threat to JBL after their dominance in the market. The sound is unquestionably superior on the JBL Charge, or at least the Flip, but that's why we buy speakers, so budget accordingly. In my opinion, this is the finest choice because, at this price point, no other conventional speakers can compete, especially those that produce 16 watts. Unfortunately, the watts from these devices are not felt to the same degree.
