I struggled with the driver's side window temperature switch for years. Sometimes if I did it right it would go up. Most of the time it was just a big pain in the ass. Then one day it broke off completely. In short, I ordered this switch. I couldn't be happier. This is a game changer in my car. Very easy installation. All I needed was a tiny little screwdriver and a regular hex screwdriver. Adjust the old one. Unplug it, plug in a new one and snap it into place. That's all. Be careful when disabling the old one. You need to click the connection in the right place, it should be very easy to disconnect. If it resists, don't push it properly yet. That's all. Feel free to use this switch. Fits perfectly. And as an added bonus, it shines a lot better than the old one. I just wish it was that easy to fix the headliner that's falling off this 2012 Jeep Liberty.
