Worst product for the money, wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The W719/45M China filter and the W719/45 Germany filter are two different products that are not equivalent to each other (the Chinese W719/45M does not replace the German one). Due to the difference in technical characteristics, I EXTREMELY advise against installing the Chinese W719 / 45M on VAG TSI engines, Differences - The anti-drainage valve on the Chinese is made of black rubber, and not silicone - it will harden and the oil will leave the filter, The difference in the opening pressure of

Pros
  • Suitable for carving.
Cons
  • Everything else except thread sizes. Deception.

Like many here, I received a Chinese version of the filter, which, to put it mildly, strained. The TSI engine is capricious about gasoline, oil, oil pressure, oil change dates - in a word, this engine has little to do with favor. I wanted to return the filter and order it in a trusted store, where they usually bring MANN with the "correct" stamping, magic inscriptions that open only in the light of the UV spectrum, with tight springs, etc., etc. But I decided to write to the officials. Pros
  • The price (for promotions, with cashbacks - I wouldnโ€™t take it without it), they quickly brought it.
Cons
  • Chinese, strains something . It's kind of sugary. However - see comments.

Reliable, handles the Florida heat. Passat 2009

I've been using this filter on my Passat 2009 for years and no problems. I'm ordering 6 more. Just so you know how many filters I'm using. My car has 170,000 miles on it and I change filters and oil every 5,000 miles so Ch for me is every 3 months. I drive 120 miles to work and that's just one possibility. Highly recommended

Dealer quality at a reduced price!

I bought this filter [Mann-Filter W 719/45 replacement oil filter] for my 2012 VW GTI (2.0 Turbo). This is the same OEM filter used by the dealer. The fit and functionality is top notch, no leaks, no issues. Combine this with a five liter jug of fully synthetic oil (Castrol or Valvoline) and a metal drain plug washer and you can change the oil yourself.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Great product, unfortunately.

The ONLY reason I'm deducting 1 star now is because I bought this filter twice instead of the original OEM filter at a GREAT price of $9. It worked perfectly then too. But like today October 15, 2020. They unexpectedly increased the price to $15/$16 which is $3 more than the actual OEM filter I just bought before posting this review. Unfortunately, you have lost a customer through this price increase, who also costs more than OEM.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • There are problems

Possible filter defect once

I have already used the filter 3 times. Once there was a problem removing the filter from the car where the threaded part got stuck on the car. I thought I was in big trouble but I was able to screw the filter back onto the threads and re-tighten the filter. When I uninstalled it a second time, it came out as expected. I only hand tighten the filter so don't think I overtightened it. Suppose a filter was slightly defective. I will continue to order this filter as I believe it was probably a one

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Almost never

It fits the Audi Q5 and has two parts

I can confirm it fits the 2015 Audi Q5 despite what Rewain says. I also found, like some other reviewers, that this filter is one piece, but actually consists of two parts: a filter and a metal threaded connection with a plastic ring. The metal screw and plastic ring can remain on the engine when unscrewing the filter I suppose, especially if the last installer overtightened the filter. In my case, unscrewing the old metal bolt from the engine was easy enough, but if someone doesn't know thisโ€ฆ

This is German technology for you.

This company has a solid reputation for quality aftermarket filters. However, I give 3 stars because this filter actually consists of two parts that fell apart for me. let me explain. In the picture you can see the outer metal case of the filter, above it there is a plastic piece that connects to a central metal thread that corresponds to where the car is mounted. When I removed one of these filters, the plastic part and threads remained attached to the machine while the outer metal is free toโ€ฆ

The quality is stock, maybe a little cheaper, but good.

Suitable for Audi A6 C7 2012+. same engine as all other 2L TFSI VW/AUDI engines. Just check the part number (719/45) on yours as there are different generations of 2L. My dad's A6 has the same engine as my 2012 GTI, just offset 90 degrees to the right. The standard filter is still 719/45, only with VW or Audi emblem, both made in Germany. They are essentially standard filters sold to the consumer rather than the retailer, hence the different packaging. This may well be because I change my oilโ€ฆ
