I bought it to protect my hands from the sun. I've recently started cycling and hiking more and I hate the feeling of sunscreen on my skin. At first I was worried that I would get a lot hotter due to the lack of skin contact on my arms. Although I noticed that my arms didn't blow in the wind, I didn't actually feel any warmer than I did in a short-sleeved shirt. I bought the size XL and it was exactly as expected. I'm 6ft 1in, 235lbs and wear a 46 coat. According to my doctor I need to lose about 30lbs so hopefully that gives you an indication of the size. The fit and finish of the shirt was good and the stitching appears to be well done and the material feels good. The shirt has not been washed yet and I will update this review if I run into any issues after a few uses and washes.
