Update 9/25/21 in Vacuums & Floor Care

Let me start by saying that I live in a 2000 sqft property. feet with her husband. We are both retired and have no children or pets (other than my husband who is a bit of a mess but that's another story). I find that the vacuum cleaner cleans well, it is light and very manoeuvrable. I have no issues with battery life, but I do two-step cleaning: first downstairs plus stairs, charge battery, clean kitchen and bathrooms, then put battery back in and finish upstairs. This is my first battery powered vacuum and I will never go back to a heavy duty corded vacuum. Now for the problems: I start with the default AUTO mode, but the cleaner switches modes for an obviously new reason. The touchscreen is not very responsive and almost useless. The mud cup and filters are not very easy to disassemble for cleaning and must be precisely reassembled. I understand that a good fit of these parts is important, but I have to believe there is an easier way. I hope this vacuum cleaner lasts a few years but if I buy it again I will definitely look for a better design. updated 9/25/21. The seller approached me with some suggestions and today I used the vacuum cleaner again. After watching the maintenance video provided by the seller, it doesn't seem necessary to completely disassemble it after each use. Simply pull out the filter unit and wipe it down with a cloth, as does the dirt cap. Much easier. Also, I found that if I lined up the little notches on top of the filter assembly with the red dot on the cup, it would be a lot easier to put them back together. I also found the problem with the touch screen. The entire screen is untouchable, but when you touch the word Mode, everything works fine. The vacuum still tends to switch modes randomly, but not as much today due to user error? Anyway, now that I know how the touchscreen works, it's not that big of a deal. Can't give 4 1/2 stars but agree 5. Given what I know now, would I buy again? Yes.
