Also is a postcard, I presume is to reinforce the image of one keeping a journal as they traverse the globe. Cute, cool & different.The cover is relatively sturdy, made of real leather. The stiching seems strong enough to last a couple trips around the globe.The only negative is the placement of the pen holder, so, when closed the pen sits on top of the note pad, instead of beside it. This makes the entire setup too bulky to fit in many pockets. Fortunately, this is the only negative, but may be enough for a return. Gonna give it a couple days.
