Other than the Rocketbook it seems like 3.5x5.5 memo pads with a wirebound top aren't made anymore, the common sizes are more like 3x4.5 so this beautiful case is huge compared to a pad. It won't fit into a shirt pocket, and if you put a pen in the holder (a very nice touch) it pushes the front cover back and makes it simply more ungainly. Very nicely made, but certainly not for the US market.

I use this everyday at work. The cover is thick and takes up a lot of room. Not very pocket size, it sticks out of any pocket you can fit it in. Too big for most shirt pockets.The pen does NOT fit very well when placed in the holder. The case will not close properly. Placing the clicker part of the pen works much better. I included a photograph to demonstrate.

This note book is unbelievable. Instead of carrying a large fat thick notebook, you are able to carry this and when you are done, magic, it's ready to go again. I thought if you wet the pages it would compromise the durability of the page, but it holds up, time and time again. The 3.5" x 5.5" size of this notebook cover is perfect for the top bound version of green military-style memo books. I used to be a fan of Moleskine-style journals but they fill up quickly and are a touch more expensive. I use this at my job, and I use it to hold my mini-rocketbook flip pad. It's a little large and has difficulty fitting in my pocket, but it looks original gangster so I carry it around. I keep my stylus and pen in it and since it's large it ensures that I won't lose my flip pad. I also have this weird thing that I do where I open it up on the table, and put my phone on top and use the stylus and take notes on my rocket book. It helps to organize my conspiracy theories. A++

Everything seems on the up and up except that the pen loop doesn't put the pen in the spine of the fold. You either have the pen fold over onto the notebook, or when you fold the cover over with the pen in the spine there's a gap on the right side where the cover won't fully cover the notebook. They should just swap the pen loop to the side where the notebook is and it would fit perfect.

It seems to scratch and scuff rather easily, but the "damage" is purely cosmetic and gives it a nice worn look (in my opinion). The pen holder is not ideally placed and prevents the cover from closing properly; I just hang the pen off the outside of the spine, but it is a little annoying to have a useless feature. The right side pocket is big enough to completely fit a standard passport, but might be tight for one with extra pages.

Nice material, great fit for the Rocketbook mini, but somehow they lined the pen holder up with the cover of the book so it does not close properly. Really obvious design flaw that takes away from an otherwise great cover. C’mon guys

I was worried about this cover after reading the reviews about the pen loop.However, to make things fit better (though not "perfectly") only use the pen loop for the pen's clip -- not the barrel of the pen.This is a classic; bad design that would be so very easy to fix.-- The "cover" needs a few millimeters of extra width, so it folds over a little better.-- The loop needs to be attached to the other side of the item, and should be wide elastic instead of leather.There. Just received and very pleased with the product. Don't normally write reviews, but several had written that the pen doesn't fit as it rests on the book (I'm using for a rocketbook mini and fits great). The trick with the pen is to not put it in the sleave, but use the clip which extends the pen to the natural fold and it rests next to the rocketbook. I tried same with a larger moleskine and the pen did lay on the book. So perfect for rocketbook mini if you want to use the pen storage.

I wanted to dress up my rocket book and protect it a bit. I was carrying it in my back pocket but ruining my rocket book. This little leather holder is nicely made and durable. Also like that it holds my pen. I have used it as a second wallet and love that it holds my business cards. I t hi ink you will love this leather holder.

I gave it 5 stars instead of 4. The cover is big enough that you can fit a pen right next to the Rocketbook Mini. I have the RB Mini along side a silver color frixion pen. As you can see both fit well together and no noticeable bulge. Just move the pad over to the side as much as possible. No cutting, stitching or mods of any kind. Works great so far and just it in a pants pocket.

This Soft PU Rocketbook Mini case fits great without pen. I tried putting the pen CLIP in the loop to flatten it closed. However, then the edge of the front/top of the cover didn't align with the edge of the back/bottom of the cover.I really wanted to like this cover. It has a much nicer feel than most PU items and it's the perfect shade of wine. It Would work without using the center pen loop; but that would require carrying the pen separately or adding a Pen Station or loop extending outside…

I would have rated this leather journal cover higher if it did not add so much bulk to my mini Rocketbook. I like that I can now carry a Frixon pen with my mini. It is just so thick, I have to hold it rather than place it in my pocket.

Very poor design. Once I inserted my rocketbook mini and a frixion pen the leather would not align or close properly. Very disappointed.
