Although we have had good success with Panasonic cordless phones over the years, the caller ID feature died less than 3 months after purchasing this phone. The feature started working intermittently and it took some time to figure out what the problem was. We then followed Panasonic's troubleshooting instructions: We contacted the phone company and found that caller information was being sent to the phone. The base unit was then unplugged and the batteries removed from all receivers for the specified time. However, after the "reboot" the caller ID was not restored. The device can be sent to Panasonic for repair as the warranty is still valid. However, this is problematic as it requires a phone (and the box is long gone). Barring a miracle, I doubt we'll get a Panasonic replacement.
