Let me just say this is a great find. I need something to hold up my hair at night because it stings my face when we're watching TV with my head on his shoulder. It's perfect, they're soft and silky and they do a lot more than just hold my hair. I have long, thick hair, and lately it's so long that it gets caught under my shoulder blades at night and then in the dark. I wake up in the morning and my neck hurts or my head hurts. That doesn't happen anymore with this beautiful hat at night. Also, I would say that I have a medium to large head and the elastic is never tight. I was also looking for a mask that can be worn at night to protect from the sun and early morning light, which is great. Since it has two layers of material, I apply it directly over the eyebrows and pull the excess over the eyes. The masks either come off or slide off the head or onto the neck or are too tight, it's easy. I might look a little silly but I don't care, I like my darkness. I have washed and dried in the washing machine with no problems. She hasn't shrunk. And finally I've realized that now that I wear this mask at night my occasional adult acne is almost completely gone and my hair isn't on my face all night. I washed my hair all the time, I tried to put it in a ponytail or bun but it always came loose. This sleepyhead is great! My teenage daughters were against it at first, but they also have long hair and I convinced them it would change their lives as much as mine. So now everyone has one, I have one and my mom has one too. I think I'll get one for my sister in law too.
