Little did I know when I moved from Phoenix to New England that 2 hours later in December I would need an ice scraper. Of course, scraping snow and ice off your windshield with a de-icer isn't the best way to start an already cold morning in a car at high speed. novice review. 1) The handle is long enough that I can easily remove most of the ice/snow from the roof of my Kia Soul. I'm quite tall so that works for me, but even my borderline midget mom could handle it. 2) Seems to me that the bristles should be stiffer. That's half the downside, as it's a bit like bristles on a broom, and when there's a lot of snow it takes a few swipes to clean it all up. 3) The foam grip was good as I also forgot to buy gloves. but it does slide up and down the scraper a bit and I would have preferred it to be a little more secure. 4) The scraper, well, scratch. I got all the ice off the windshield without scratching it and was even able to chip off the icicles that were frozen over my headlights with ease. Overall - 4 out of 5 stars.
