Review on Loew Cornell 1021094 Simply Watercolor Paint by Nicole Mcleod

I'm just getting started with watercolors and based on other reviews and the price I decided to give this a try. Well I only gave 3 stars because it's ok for the price. The pigment does not blend smoothly, the colors retain their vibrancy, but there is definitely nothing "smooth" or "slick" about these colors. Maybe for a "very" inexperienced artist, but they might be tempted to discourage the budding artist with their difficulties on the job. In addition, the bottom of the dark blue tube was open - the filling was never "crimped". I would never recommend these colors. Spend a little more and get a better brand.
