Review on Dell S2316M 23-inch Widescreen Backlight Monitor, 1920X1080P, 60Hz, Wide Screen, HD by James Byrd

I had to work hard to find the right monitor for me and I bought 3 monitors before I found the one I liked: this one! My laptop screen is failing, so I'm using this external monitor as my primary screen. It has a very small bezel, which I think is a nice touch. I have a black desktop background with an image in the middle. The colors on this screen are so saturated that in my office I can't tell where the black background ends and the frame begins. I also like the finish of the screen, it's glossy and creates good contrast without being overly reflective, so I focus on the reflection of what's behind me. The first monitor I bought had a matte finish, which I didn't like. The blacks weren't black and the color didn't look that good. I believe the second monitor I bought was a predecessor of this monitor and the glare was a bit more noticeable (I think this model has a new finish that causes less glare). I got this 23 inch monitor for 139.99 so I couldn't refuse it. I'll probably be buying a second of these monitors soon for my own computer I'm building and although the price has gone up a bit I think it's worth it. Looks great. But there is no HDMI port.
