This is the 5th one I own and they work great for a while and then problems arise. This particular one lasted six months before "refreshing the media" every time it was turned on. This means that the ability to resume playback at a certain point is lost entirely, which is unacceptable for audiobooks or podcasts. Now he does it regardless of the mode. Others I've had have lost connection to my computer, won't accept new files when connected, shuffle audiobook chapters regardless of settings, or just stopped working. While this is a great little MP3 player, once it works, don't expect it to last long. Consider it almost disposable.
