Metal top, plastic bottom

It's fine for light home use but feels a little pricey for what you get. I could expect an extruded aluminum body that wraps everything for this price point. The plastic on the back feels brittle, but it's hanging from some rafters so I don't think it'll get damaged. But if you're a contractor and you're getting dumped, I'd spend it on something a little more powerful. The plugs themselves appear to be of decent quality, as does the power button. USB ports not tried yet.
