A range of plastic finger puppets representing beetles. The set includes 2 bees, purple butterflies, yellow butterflies, dragonflies, grasshoppers and ladybugs. Each of the dolls consists of a flexible plastic base into which a pinky (1/2 inch diameter) can be inserted, to which separate pieces of wings are glued for all except grasshoppers. The eyes are drawn. The dolls were made in China. I am very pleased with the anatomical details of these dolls. The antennae are of reasonable length and correctly positioned for each species. Bees, butterflies and dragonflies have the right number of wings. As expected, all critters have 6 legs. I bought them for an enthusiastic young entomologist who just loves to play with them. As for me, a grown woman with small and medium hands, I can barely get the tip of my index finger in, but they fit the pinky just fine. All in all, this is a very fun and well-made set for insect lovers.
