The hole pattern for the base is much larger than shown in the pictures. The bolt hole pattern is 7 1/16" square on center. Same size as the 8" vise I sent back because it didn't fit in the spot I intended it to fit. The picture in the description shows one bolted bushing inside/jaw width less than 6". Warning, the enlarged image showing the width of the jaw can be misleading when trying to estimate bolt spacing. Also, the rubber washers on the handle are too loose to be useful.
