I bought this because I wanted something that would give me versatility in mounting and in that respect it doesn't disappoint. The Garmin mount is very secure and the camera mount is quite functional too. The big problem I found is that the adhesive that is supposed to be put on the back of the phone is an absolute joke and not worth it. Sell glue 3 times during a trip for 1 point. I ended up replacing the glue with a $5 ready-made mortar. The only thing that saved my phone was the armband I wrapped around the phone holder's mouth. quarter inch, which seemed to solve the problem. Overall I'm happy with this mount, but I was expecting the adhesive to be rubbish. If you get this, replace the glue with something stronger and make sure you have a clean, smooth mounting surface. Matte metals like the back of my iPhone 7 are not a good choice for an adhesive unless you do what I did and an extra smooth layer of adhesive between the phone and the mount adhesive.
