Easy to install with a stem. First of all, yes the light is bright and amazing, what frustrates me the most for giving 3.5 stars out of 5 is the damn clip. Easy to screw in and out Sorry let me correct it, it's SO MUCH easy to screw in and out BEFORE it's on the tank. Once it's on the tank I swear you're going to need man hands plus man power or damn pliers. I bought 2 of these for my smaller tanks, the light is very long, it didn't look right or even fit, even broke part of the tank frame to make it fit, THEN TRY TO FIT IT RIGHT ATTACH. No almost not, I still keep them because they work great on my other big tanks, but am still disappointed that it's almost impossible to screw the yoke to the tank and install without things around the tank to tap or frustrate events like I have done. But other than that the light is bright and Nicrew is a very good brand if you have live plants but they are not thriving due to your current flashes. good product in general ONLY NOT CLAMPING PART
