Review on Cobra MicroTalk 14 Channel Water Resistant Two Way by George Kapoor

I bought this 2 way pick mainly for fun. We've used them in our cars to see how far the range would go and it's disappointing to say that a 3-mile range isn't realistic at all if you live near buildings. If you have a large field or are on a boat, the range is a little closer to 3 miles, but not quite. It's 2 ways for shopping mall or festival. A clear plus is the user-friendliness. The buttons and instructions are simple and it took us about 5 minutes to learn most of the features. The belt clip is a nice accessory, but raising and lowering the antenna is cumbersome as you have to take it out of the case each time. It weighs as much as 4 AAA batteries and less than some cell phones.
