I have 2 cars with Android Auto. I needed a short cable to connect my galaxy s10e to the port and this product helped. We had similar cables for our S7 but needed them for the new phones as they require a USB-C connector. The old cable was frayed and shorted out. I'm hoping for better results from this. UPDATE: Well after 6 months of use I am disgusted with these cables. Not one, but ALL 3 gave us problems. One minute they were working, the next we were losing Android Auto. The original advertisement stated that the cables were rated for 4,000 bends. I don't know how many revs they could have had since April 2019 but certainly less than 4000. If they had failed completely it would have been one thing but the problem was intermittent which led us to believe that the problem my wife's car was there. Then I thought it might be my cell phone. I suggest using the Samsung cables that came with our phones and now Android Auto works fine on both devices.
