The heating works great. most of the time. It generates a lot of heat, it's easy enough to heat a small or medium-sized room. It works quickly and you can adjust the temperature to suit your needs. The remote works, no problems. Sometimes the heater just turns off for no reason. This seems to happen more often at lower temperatures than at higher ones. In this case you will have to unplug the heater and plug it back in before it will work again. When we tried to use this heater to cool the room instead of heating it (when our AC broke) it kept turning off after about a minute. Another disadvantage of this heater is the sound. It beeps when you plug it in, adjust the temperature, or change the setting. The beep is very loud and there is no way to turn it off or even mute it. I've considered opening the thing up and taking out the speaker, but haven't gotten that far. All in all a decent heater that generally works well.
