I think it's a law of nature that the better the bread, the harder it is to cut. This is especially true of my favorite homemade bread, which I describe as "crumbly" — a term that's easier to understand in writing than it is spoken. The bread knife I've been using for a few years is the best I've found, but I couldn't rate it higher than "fair" so I was willing to try something new. ever used on my tender honey oatmeal bread! The slices came out clean and even, and there were NO crumbs left on the bread bin! The knife itself is solidly made, beautiful and feels good in the hand. What I also like is that it is rust resistant. This will be a great present. Also, my delicious bread looks much more attractive when I serve it to my family and guests!
