I bought this item a few days ago and it made me cough the few times that I used it. I posted a one star rating about how terrible the product was after email the company for a refund. The company reached out right away to express their apologies with assurances of a refund since I wasn't satisfied with the product. They also suggested what I wish I had the sense to realize: I could simply dilute the spray with distilled water. So I tried it and it took me a couple of mixtures that worked for me, 1/3 spray solution to distilled water, and the results are wonderful. I can finally enjoy the smell without the overwhelming strength of the essential oils making me irritated. I also get the added bonus of the product lasting longer. Since this is company with integrity that believes in customer satisfaction, I will be looking into their other sprays.
