Review on Playz Combustion Building Kit with Cylinder by Mark Albright

I have a 10 year old who likes to build. This set comes with great instructions and clear diagrams. It took my kid about 8 hours to assemble. The manual contains pages describing the various parts of the engine and the stages of combustion in a four-stroke engine. The best part is that the lights will go out showing actual combustion from the spark plugs. You must pay close attention to the details in the photos to ensure everything is done correctly. My kid assembled it (mostly by himself) but we had to redo three little things attached back to front. Those details were on the charts, but the 10-year-old missed them. I'm deducting a star for two reasons. The plastic is very high quality, but none of them have screw threads. During assembly, you need to use more than 50 screws. They hold the motor together very well but my 10 year old found them too difficult to handle on his own. Adult help was required. I wish this was a toy just for kids.2. The only thing we didn't like is that this motor only runs for about 20 seconds before shutting down. The upside is that it won't last forever, but that's not enough to really see all the Pistons doing their thing. Because of the engine sound, you will never forget to turn it off. Overall this is a really great experience that we would highly recommend for kids who love to build. Great project!
