Review on Enhanced xtava Pro Satin Infrared Flat Iron featuring Tourmaline Ceramic Plates by Shaun Ford

I'm in love with this iron. I used it last night before going out and even though it was very cold outside with little humidity it tamed my frizzy static hair. It held up so well my hair still looks great the next day after I sleep. (See photos.) The packaging of this device is great. It comes in a very nice outer box with another more durable heavy duty black inner box and a very nice heat resistant storage/travel bag. The packaging makes it a very good gift option as it looks very expensive. There is a slider at the base that prevents the unit from opening fully (easier to store) but sliding the piece will allow the iron to open fully. The instructions in the box don't explain this part so at first I thought it doesn't open very far, but once I figured that out it was very easy to use. Speaking of instructions, they are listed in English, Spanish, French and German. (I don't think I speak/read all of those languages, but I think that's right.) Using the Pro-Satin straightener was very easy. The buttons weren't complicated and the plates glided nicely through my hair without snagging. The outer ends of the unit didn't get too hot when I was using it (which some of my other irons do). Overall I'm very happy with this tool and it's going to be my favorite iron. My only complaint would be that the instructions could have used a little more detail, but not enough to deduct a star. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
