Saves bacon because it's made for it
As is usually the case with any HeliCoil setup, this saved the day for my project. Mine wasn't as advertised. The installation tool was better than the diamond handle style. It came with a straight shaft with a mounting hook on one end and a square drive on the other. Put a square drive in a wrench, crescent wrench, vice or whatever and screw it in. I recommend buying a good cobalt tip for this and dedicating it to the HeliCoil kit.
