    Works great in thread repair kits

    This spiral shaped roller repairs diesel pump threads. Has worked as it should. Everything was included in the kit including a drill bit to drill a stripped thread. Very important

    Installation was easy

    The spiral coil installed easily in my aluminum radiator, but I couldn't thread the new M12 x 1.5 drain plug into the new thread. Had to use an old fork wrapped in oatey fastape. The Helix appears to be slightly smaller than the real M12.

    Sti brembo best in Thread Repair Kits

    Great solution for raw aluminum Brembo calipers. If they are tightened too much, they break off and are easily severed even with cross threads. When I first worked on my steal, the screw was barely tight. The previous owner cut it up and completely damaged it. It was an excellent and reliable solution.

    Works great but quality probably comes second

    Product works fine just wish there was a little easier to trim off the excess. This is the first thread repair I've ever used, but it ended up working great. A lot of reviews say the threader is an odd size so I expected this issue but I just used a 12 point 10mm ratchet on the end which 3/8 worked great!

    C+ product. Cheap drill that burns through on first use and needs re-sharpening

    When attempting to open up an existing hole with the drill bit provided it just burned out (required total drilling distance 3/4""), only 5/8 the way there and after repeated sharpening the drill blade just didn't work. I had to cut a few turns off the HeliCoil to get it all the way into the hole. Nice kit, great box, looks good, the drill SUCKS so I'm planning on getting a good quality drill to complement this kit

    Easy repair for stripped threads

    So I foolishly ignored the torque rating on my bike's drain plug the last time I changed the oil. Warning: Don't do this. When I pulled out the drain plug to replace it again, the threads came out with the plug. After my swearing subsided I bought this little kit to reverse the drain plug hole. It works exactly as advertised. You will need to purchase cutting oil and a faucet handle as neither is included. But once you have them, the drilling and tapping process works as it should and the…

    Bit and tap worked great. My only complaint is that the tap is an awkward shank size and doesn't fit in a small tap holder, and was a little awkward to use in a large tap holder. I was able to get it working by inserting the stem into a cheap 10mm head and using a socket wrench to do the job. My big issue with this kit is the coiled coils. The shaft won't break no matter what I do. I actually messed up a helix trying to break the stem. I tried the tool that came with it and a pair of needle…

    Completely solved for my 2007 BMW X3 3.0Si. I changed the oil in my X3 last month. And after I replaced the drain plug and tried to screw it back in, it just kept turning and turning and I thought to myself.
