I bought these skewers to make mozzarella meatballs and tomato appetizers. I wanted something strong enough to hold them without bending or breaking which was my problem with bamboo or wood. I got a lot for little money. They were sealed in groups of 12. It's a simple, durable design that suits casual or fine dining. For reference, I have meatballs, 2 small moose balls, and a grape tomato on a skewer with no problems. WASH IT BEFORE USE (I know, yes) - but admittedly I was lazy at first and found out there's a coating that turns my hand blackish after making a skewer. It came off with a simple soap and water and we were ready to go!
