Review on 🔌 Deftun MSR605 MSR606 MSR90 USB Swipe Magnetic Credit Card Reader 3 Tracks Mini Smart Card Reader by David Dober

Start early: Don't know the technical difference between 2-track and 3-track track magnetic stripe for cards . However, I know that this reader did not work with the EBT cards that we issue in our office. The old card reader we have is listed as 2 lane so I'm assuming our cards are 2 lane and not compatible with a 3 lane reader. Please correct me if I'm wrong. This does not mean that the reader does not work at all. He will read the numbers; however, it also put a semicolon in front of the number, and the number was followed by a few other random characters and other numbers. When typing in Notepad, it doesn't matter and can be fixed manually. However, when you go to the website we use to issue cards, it is not processed correctly, presumably due to these extra characters and the character limit in the field. Unfortunately, while this product may technically work, it's not as simple as "plug and play" for all parties. Due to my own ignorance on the matter, I can't entirely disclaim the review, hence I'm giving it 3 stars.
