My 16 month old daughter loves to jump in the pool with her older sisters so we had to find clothes for her! Typical baby life jackets are too bulky and they could not roll and swim. Jumping through the puddles worked but made us a little nervous since she is so small and can stretch her arms. I saw this type of shoulder harness on another kid and bought it to try. It works well if we tighten it as tight as possible. She loves being able to "swim"! My only complaint is that it weighs 22 pounds and no company makes them for children under 30! So it's a bit big for them, even though it works. I wish I could buy one for a small child.
