Review on Kormoran Snow 215/55 R18 99 winter by Adam Kaniuk ᠌

Best price for this product, will buy more!

I’ll make a reservation right away, in the summer I drive a Michelin Pilot Sport 4, in the winter you don’t really drive and you just need to move around, so I took kormoran (aka tigar), in size 215/60 R16, earlier in the winter there was also Michelin and other premium tires, there is something to compare with. Let's start with the fact that the rubber loses a little in all respects and the bear, buzzer and yokohama, BUT, the loss at the right pressure (soft sidewall, feel free to swing +0.3 . + 0.4 atm) according to my subjective impressions, within +/- 20 %, but worse, but given that the kit comes out 4 times! cheaper, decide for yourself. Front-wheel drive in full rubber will not correct, and the main thing is not what kind of rubber you have, but what kind of gasket between the steering wheel and the seat. In comparison with the ketai, it is much better, with the Koreans on the same level. I drive fast, especially on the highway, it’s fast 160-200, the geometry is on the level, there are no vibrations or rolling, but you yourself understand the budget option, it’s better to check. That is why when buying the second set in size 225/45 R18 I looked at the geometry, but everything turned out to be normal. In general, I recommend, in addition, rubber, especially winter Velcro tans in 3 years, therefore it is easier to take a tigar / cormoran once every two years than to spend a piggy bank on a premium.

Pros
  • + Price! 4 times lower than premium brands! + Good hook for porridge + Good grip on asphalt + Good grip on ice + does not float in warm weather on dry pavement
Cons
  • - noisy - soft sidewall (you need to pump a little more, be careful with lapping to the curbs) - friends who gave 40k for premium brands shout to you: "fu, what kind of rubber is this, is it China?".
