Best antenna wire yet

I use this to string my various radio antennas up to 140 feet long. It is sturdy, well behaved and best of all very hard to find in the air. Solders nicely and coils well.excellent product and presentation on the roll. .

  • works well for qrp antennas

  • Not suitable for high-current applications since the wire gauge is relatively small, resulting in high resistance and energy loss

This wire is the best

I use quite a bit of this wire in various gauges, but always in gray, for making Radio antennas. The wire is excellent, and fairly priced. In thinner gauges the like this the gray color disappears against the sky. I love this stuff.

Pros
  • If your wiring controls this wire Solders, strips, flexes and is in general better than PVC jacket.
Cons
  • The thin strands of tinned copper wire can break easily, leading to intermittent connections and electrical shorts

Exactly what we needed.

This was hard to find locally. We needed a lot for a project and it all arrived on time. Worked great for what we needed it for. We have ordered more in the larger rolls.

Pros
  • This works great for what I am using it for.
Cons
  • The silicone insulation has a high coefficient of friction, which may make it challenging to slide through tight spaces or routed through conduits

Not bad but very long ship time

Not bad for what it is but very long shipping. Colors are also hit or miss, one roll was orange the other was kinda orange but not the same color at all.

  • Used about 150 ft. to connect sprinkler solenoid valve; so far, works great
Cons
  • The wire may be difficult to strip due to the numerous strands, making it more time-consuming and tricky to work with

Great wire for a low power ham antenna.

This wire works great for portable ham antennas. I have made two EFHW 40-10 antennas from this wire, and they both work great with my Xiegu G90 running 20w.Very supple and light weight, doesn't tangle. I recommend this for anyone looking for SOTA or POTA antenna wire that takes up little space and is very light.

  • Very flexible and doesn’t get tangled when using multiple runs as ground radials.

  • Did not receive complete order.

Great for antenna wire

Used this for an EFHW, very light, strong enough to make a decently long run, and pretty discrete if you were trying to hide it from prying HOA eyes.

Pros
  • Bought this for use as EFHW antennas. Has a nice feel to it, and resists tangling.
Cons
  • The price of the spool may be prohibitive for users on a tight budget, especially given the availability of more affordable alternatives with comparable specifications
