The only thing to pay attention to is the "W" shaped zipper. These thin pin-like fasteners can become too tight or too loose just because the plastic flexes in or out slightly. You'll have to pinch it if it breaks too easily, or stretch the pins if it's too tight. As the collar ages, the plastic hardens, which changes the force required to break it, so you'll need to check it every few months.
