I've been looking for a martingale that is cute and fun but doesn't take away from it's functionality. The colors are vibrant and pretty and the fabric is sturdy but soft, but not so soft that it loosens on its own like some collars do. Now all of that aside I am VERY disappointed that in the picture the pieces holding the collar together are metal and what I got is plastic that my dog can break with a good tug. I love the look of this collar, and it may seem harsh, but am sorely disappointed…

I bought two of these patterns for both of my pups and they get so many compliments everywhere we go! We’ve gone to pet stores and even the employees love them and ask where we got them. I love how thick the collar itself is, just wish the loop at the front wasn’t so big but still worth the price and not enough to knock it down from five stars. Definitely my favorite collars I’ve bought them over the years and that’s including really expensive collars from friendship bracelet. @gnarlyukuleles

I haven't used this collar very long but when I was looking for one to purchase I was unsure of the construction and quality. I was so relieved when I opened the package to see how well this was constructed with attention to detail and beautiful colors. I will add to this review after I have gotten my dog and myself used to how it functions and if it allows me to have better control and my dog has better comfort/less stress when I put it's design to into use.

Like the collar. Well made. Much larger than I thought it would be but was able to adjust it to fit. The only downside to the collar is that there is not a buckle to open collar and put on dog. Each time collar is removed I am going to need to loosen collar and pull it over dogs head. Fortunately this dog has no issue with me doing that but my other dog will not tolerate it.

I have a very active Australian Shepherd and he was pulling so hard at the least. He actually hurt my hand once when he took off running and I had the leash wrapped in my hand. This collar really helps and I like that I can grab ahold of the part where the D ring is attached and easily hold him by the collar without him pulling too hard. All he needs to to see or hear a squirrel and the chase is on.

We live on a ranch and my Lab/Weimaraner covers every inch chasing critters and digging into ground squirrel tunnels. His collars get lots of abuse. I decided to get him a second one. This is my second Martingale for him from these folks. He's had the first for 6 years. There's nothing wrong with the old one except for it getting faded and dirty. Now Lenny has a "change of clothes" so to speak!

This collar is beautiful. The colors are so vivid. I have a black staffie. The collar contrasts so beautifully. And it’s very soft and comfortable. The martingale assures your dog will never slip their collar and it won’t choke or hurt their neck if they pull.

Colors of patterned design are exceptionalJust the right thickness for Sully. The collar may not hold up well in water! He knows he looks real sharp!

Sturdiness and durability are not very well, it’s very thin and plastic D rings and plastic tightener. Thought it would be made better like the ones at dog shows.

Super cute design that gets complimented often. It's well made, sturdy, has held up impeccably over time, the width keeps my large strong dog from choking himself on the leash, and he can't back out of it. I'll definitely buy this again if only to change out the design as after a year it's showing very little wear.

The picture shows a medal ring for you to attach your leash aNd it is plastic not metal. Very disappointing, would not purchase again.

Love the idea behind it. My dog can choose for it to tighten up or lay comfortably around his neck. The patterns look really sharp on him.

I was buying on pattern only and didn't notice this was a safety collar. I also was trying to find a bigger one and, based on measurements of this one vs. the previous one, this shouldn't have been much bigger. But it was much, much too big for my pit bull. I also just don't like the loop for the safety training aspect. I just rescued 2 dogs, a mother and daughter and they came with those stupid prong collars. These are comfortable for them and they stay on.

I love this collar, I just wish it was a bit thicker. But the pattern is super cute and it works great on my greyhound. Thanks for attention.

I love this collar and wish I had gotten it a year ago when I got my little Beagle rescue, Baxter. The pulling has been eliminated almost 100% and is wonderful!

Our Great Dane, Knox, has gone through multiple unbreakable military style collars.Not only is this one so dang cute, you can feel that it is durable and can withstand 170 pound puppy strength.

I love this for just a collar to wear, but as a martingale, it's a little lacking. If the smaller area were made with chain instead of the same cloth, it would likely be better for correction.

Our old man that we rescued looks handsome in his new collar! (Ordered the extra large. he’s 80ish pounds!) I should note that he is very strong and we were concerned this collar wouldn’t be of high quality — we were wrong! It’s sturdy and made very well.

Good quality, holds up to 95 lb very active pup. It stays clean longer than cotton collars but has cute designs like the cotton ones. I like the martingale feature so he doesn't slip out when we go hiking or kayaking. Would highly recommend!
