Review on 🟡 ACCEL 140012 Enhanced EEC-IV Supercoil, Yellow by Tutan Dennard

Looks and feels good but this reel won't work for you. Tried using it on a freshly rebuilt engine including initial run and break-in. Huge mistake. Couldn't figure out why it wasn't firing, the timing and fueling seemed correct and I saw a "spark" when I placed the tester on the spark plugs. The problem was that the spark wasn't hot enough because the boost coil had failed. I tried running it over and over again, wearing out the new cam and trying everything I could think of to get the engine to start. There were so many new parts that it took me two days before I even thought about replacing my bright, shiny new ignition coil, but when I did, the truck started right away. If you've ever glitched on a rebuild you know I've been sweating and the camera twitching that Accel reel for probably 5 years. Now I'm just waiting to see if I haven't wasted thousands of dollars and a month of my free time thanks to Accel, so as you probably guessed from this glowing review I won't be buying any parts from Accel (or its parent). more.
